We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Stables, the charm and features couldn't be faulted, the fireplace was amazing which was the perfect setting to enjoy a glass of wine. We were welcomed by Jane and Andrew who were fantastic hosts. The property was a great location and waking up to see all of the Autumn leaves falling from the surrounding trees was so picturesque. A great location which allowed us to explore the Greater Bendigo region.

Our family recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Jane and Andrew’s beautiful property and we’re already planning our return!

The Stables is set within the grounds of the gorgeous Heart of Gold Vineyard and it is simply the most picturesque setting to call home.

The accommodation is stocked with everything you need and with access to the pool and the BBQ and a fantastic set up in the kitchen there’s no need to venture very far - we certainly didn’t!

If you do want to explore Bendigo and its great food scene, it’s only a 10 minute drive to the heart of the CBD.

Visiting in summer we didn’t have a chance to use the open fireplace or sit around the fire pit - we’re plotting a cosy winter stay later in the year. We were blessed with good weather and soaked up the sun on the pool deck, ate our breakfasts in the courtyard and wiled away the evenings on the deck overlooking the dam.

Jane and Andrew are warm and welcoming hosts and their communication before, during and after our stay was great - no question was too big or too small. We loved our stay at The Stables and can’t wait to return!

We were there on a very cold weekend. Arrived to see this beautiful cottage which was warm & cozy inside. Greeted by the lovely Jane who together with her husband Andrew were very hospitable and was lovely to share a drink with them. We will definitely come back again and hopefully when the weather is better. A great getaway, close to Bendigo and vineyards and great restaurants. Thanks again.

“My wife and I had an incredibly enjoyable break at the Stables. Having Airbnb’ed all around the world, this was without question one of the most homely, thoughtful and unique experiences that we’ve had. Jane, Andrew and Daisy (the dog) were exceptional hosts. The Stables and vineyard are beautiful and it is a mini slice of Tuscany under two hours from Melbourne. I’d highly recommend.”

“This place is gorgeous! We cannot fault the cottage; beautifully decorated, cosy and has all the amenities needed. We were lucky with the weather so got to spend some relaxing time by the pool.
